The Southeastern Indiana Musicians Association (SEIMA) announced its 2019 Hall of Fame Inductees live from the stage at the inaugural Whiskey City Summer Fest event at Lawrenceburg Civic Park. “The concert and new Civic Park stage was the perfect setting for this year’s announcements,” said Brian DeBruler (SEIMA Board Member/Sol Records) who was an organizer of the event with the City of Lawrenceburg, and Lawrenceburg Main Street.

Like wheat swaying gently in an Indiana prairie breeze, Pure Grain will blow into Peach’s Grill in Yellow Springs this weekend to perform its brand of homespun, feel-good tunes and promote its latest release, Indiana Sun. Fans of country, classic rock and jam bands will not want to miss this eclectic act from Bright, Indiana.

Widely known for their hit, “Truckin Song”, with over 3M views on Youtube, this small town Indiana based band has been featured prominently on Sirius/XM Outlaw Country, Road Dog Truckin and Americana radio stations across the country. Releasing 5 Albums, and 12 singles over the last 15 years, the band has established a loyal following across the United States and abroad. Performing everywhere, from large music festivals, to fairs and theaters, Pure Grain’s roots infused sound continues to defy genres or categorization and has earned them props with country, jamband, and classic rock fans alike.

From southern fried rock to raw funk, country hooks, and bluesy soul, Pure Grain has delivered high energy live performances across the country since 2002, opening for Hank Williams Jr., Little Big Town, Zac Brown Band, as well as Jambands like Rusted Root, and JJ Grey.

Pure Grain’s features the eclectic vocal and guitar stylings of Ryan Moore, with percussion duo Brian and Michelle DeBruler, bassist Artie Chaney, and Edward Bruker on keys and electric guitar.

The band is currently working on a brand new record, slated for release in 2024 and doing festival dates this spring and summer.
