Just in time for Father’s Day, Pure Grain is releasing their brand new single “Grass Stains”. Written by the band along with newest member singer songwriter Ryan Moore, this single marks the bands first release since the untimely passing of former lead vocalist Chris (Carolina Kidd) Taber back in 2020. “Like rising from the ashes, proceeding after Chris’s passing just didn’t feel right,” says Brian DeBruler, founding member, producer, and drummer from the group.
“When Ryan came into the band things just started coming together. The band has been around along time and with that much history, we are like family, and with Ryan now fronting the band, we feel like our family is again complete. Grass Stains is a song about reflecting on our own childhoods and how fast things move in life. We were inspired to write this tune watching our kids growing up to fast. To release this in time for Father’s Day and in honor of our fallen brother The Carolina Kidd couldn’t feel more right!”
Take a listen to Grass Stains! We really appreciate y’all support all of these years….
